Cyclone Michaung: After the effect of Michaung ends in UP, fog and temperature will increase, Gorakhpur tops in pollution

According to meteorologists, the effect of cyclonic storm Michong, which emerged from the Bay of Bengal, will continue till Thursday. Cloudy, drizzle and wind together will maintain the cold environment. Clouds may start clearing from Friday and the effect of fog and sunshine will start increasing. After the weather remains normal for two days, the winds coming with western disturbance may start the melting phase from Sunday or Monday. Due to the influence of Michong, it was cloudy for three days and there was light drizzle at many places till Wednesday. Despite this, due to the effect of clouds the temperature increased by one and a half to two degrees. Due to moisture in the atmosphere at many places in the state, there is a possibility of cloudy sky, cold wind and drizzle on Thursday also.

No rain from 8th to 12th December

According to Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, there is currently no rain in the state from 8th to 12th December. The clouds will start clearing from Friday and after the fog in the morning on Saturday, the effect of sunshine will increase. This will increase the maximum temperature of the day and the weather will become normal. After two days, the effect of western disturbance may arrive till Monday and then a gust of cold wind may increase the melting. The weather will clear after the effect of Michong ends on Friday. Fog may persist in the morning. The effect of the disturbance that will come now may increase the cold in eastern Uttar Pradesh after two days.

Pollution increased in many cities including Gorakhpur, Faizabad

Meanwhile, the climate of Uttar Pradesh has started worsening once again. The Air Quality Index (AQI) of the air here has increased significantly, due to which it is becoming difficult for people to breathe. On Thursday morning, Gorakhpur of UP ranked first among the top 100 polluted cities of the world. The AQI here is 684. After this, AQI of Faizabad is 369. This city is at 5th place. Meerut’s AQI is 341 at 8th place, Ghaziabad’s 338 at 10th place, the air of the country’s capital Delhi has improved. The AQI here is 335, which is at 13th place among the top 100 polluted cities of the world. Hapur and Noida’s AQI is 334 at 14th place, Bulandshahr’s AQI is 335 at 20th place, Muzaffarnagar’s AQI is 316 at 23rd place, Kairana’s AQI is 307 at 30th place, Aligarh’s AQI is 277 at 43rd place, Saharanpur’s AQI is 220 at 77th place and Bareilly is at 77th place. Its AQI is 153. It has increased after three days. After the rain in Bareilly, AQI had come down to around 70. But now it has started increasing once again. The AQI of Civil Lines and Subhash Nagar of the city is 154, while the AQI of Rajendra Nagar has come down to 151. AQI of other cities of UP has also increased. Due to this, the number of respiratory patients is expected to increase once again.

Temperature conditions in different cities

According to the Meteorological Department data, the minimum temperature in Bareilly is 8.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is expected to be recorded at 25 degrees Celsius. Bareilly’s minimum temperature on Thursday morning was the lowest recorded in UP. The minimum temperature in Najibabad was 9.5 degrees Celsius. Similarly, minimum temperature has been recorded at 10.3 degrees in Meerut, 10.6 degrees Celsius in Muzaffarnagar, 11.8 degrees Celsius in Auraiya and 12.5 degrees Celsius in Moradabad. The minimum temperature recorded was 12.5 degrees Celsius in Shahjahanpur, 11.7 degrees Celsius in Aligarh, 13.5 degrees Celsius in Ayodhya, 12.8 degrees Celsius in Kanpur city, 15.2 degrees Celsius in Hamirpur, 15.0 degrees Celsius in Sultanpur.

This AQI is harmful for health

0 to 50 AQI is best for human health. 51-100 AQI is also considered fine, but sensitive people start having slight difficulty in breathing. 101 AQI not good. Lung, heart and asthma patients have difficulty in breathing due to AQI of 101 to 200. But Bareilly’s AQI is beyond 300. This is quite worrying. There is oxygen in the air. Its quantity should be 19.5 quantity. Oxygen less than this is harmful for human health. It starts having adverse effects on health.
