UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar has announced the number of participating universities registered under CUET UG 2024 so far. According to his post on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, more than 200 universities have registered to use the CUET UG score for admission to undergraduate programmes. Out of the total number of participating universities, 46 are central universities, 32 are state universities, 20 are deemed-to-be-universities, 98 are private universities and 6 are government institutions.
Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2024 registration process will start from February 28 and will continue till March 26. The examinations are scheduled to be held on 15th and 31st May. However, there may be changes in NTA due to Lok Sabha elections. CUET exam dates. CUET UG 2024 will be conducted in hybrid mode this year to facilitate the candidates especially from rural areas to appear for the exam.
