Kanpur. CSJMU has gone ahead in the matter of uploading thesis in the state. The university not only got the first position in the state, leaving behind Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, but is also at the fifth position in the country. The university has uploaded 10153 theses so far. The Central Government and UGC (University Grants Commission) have directed all the universities of the country to upload theses on the Shodh Ganga portal. Three universities of the state are included in the top-10 list of the portal. Anna University (Chennai) is at the forefront in the country by uploading 14647 theses.

University of Madras stood second in the list by uploading 14517 theses, University of Calcutta stood third by uploading 13953 theses and Savitribai Phule Pune University stood fourth by uploading 12354 theses. Aligarh Muslim University is at 6th position by uploading 9792 theses and Purvanchal University is at 10th position by uploading 8777 theses. Whereas in 2021, Purvanchal University was fourth in the country and top in the state. University’s media in-charge Dr. Vishal Sharma said that theses are being uploaded. At present the university is on top in the state.
CSJMU students will get global scope
Apart from engineering and medical, Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University has started preparations to provide global scope to the students of undergraduate, postgraduate and various professional courses. In just one month, the university has signed international MOUs (agreements) with eight universities from four countries. With this, students will get an opportunity to do research with foreign universities. You will get information about the changing nature of education. CSJMU Vice Chancellor Prof. After the initiative of Vinay Kumar Pathak, various departments have started international MOUs. Within a month, agreements have been signed with two universities of Russia, two of Puerto Rico, three of Nepal and one of Malaysia.
University’s media in-charge Dr. Vishal Sharma said that proposal for agreement with universities of many countries including America, Singapore is in the process. The faculty of both the universities will share their experiences. Apart from this, students will get benefit in placement.
Research opportunity with foreign universities
CSJMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak said that on the instructions of the Governor, international agreements are being made with foreign universities. This will give global scope to the students. Faculty will get an opportunity to do research at the international level and showcase their talent. Soon agreements will be signed with many other universities.
