CSJMU: Meritorious students of three faculties missing from the medal list of the convocation, 23 thousand failed students admitted in the third year.

Kanpur News: The 38th convocation of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) of Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh will be held on September 28. Governor Anandiben Patel will preside over the convocation ceremony. At the same time, the meritorious students of medical, education and agriculture faculty will not get medals in the 38th convocation.

This is because the names of the medals awarded to these three faculty are not there in the final list released by the university. This is the first time that seven Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medals will be awarded instead of ten as per the list. A total of ten medals, including three Chancellor’s Bronze Medals, are less as compared to previous years.

List of medals released

University Vice Chancellor Prof. Preparations for the function have intensified under the chairmanship of Vinay Kumar Pathak. The university administration has released the final list of medals. Objections have been sought on this till 12th September. In every convocation of the university, in the Faculty of Medicine, Education and Agriculture, apart from the Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal, Chancellor’s Bronze Medal, Shri Ramchandra Musaddi Gold Medal, Lady Anusuiya Singhania Gold Medal, Dr. Brij Kishori Dubey Memorial Gold Medal and Mrs. Urmila Tripathi Gold Medal are given. But, there are ten medals less in the list of 38th convocation. University Examination Controller Rakesh Kumar said that many changes are possible in the list of medals.

For the first time, a professional course student gets the highest medal.

For the first time in the convocation of CSJMU, a professional course student will receive the highest medal of the university. Till now the arts faculty has been dominant. In the last convocation, B.Ed student Radha Gupta had received the Chancellor’s Gold Medal.

Asmita, who got the highest medal, scored 87.83 percent marks.

Let us tell you that the convocation of CSJMU is on 28th September. The final list of medals to be awarded at the ceremony was released. There was a tough competition for the highest medal in the list, Chancellor’s Gold and Chancellor’s Silver. Asmita Tripathi, who got the highest medal, has got 87.83 percent marks. Shubhra Aggarwal, who received the Chancellor’s Silver Medal in second place, lagged behind by just 0.18 percent. Shubhra has secured 87.65 percent marks. Shubhra has studied Microbiology from School of Sciences, CSJMU. Chancellor’s Gold Medal, Chancellor’s Silver Medal, Chancellor’s Bronze Medal, Chancellor’s Gold Medal and Sponsored Gold Medal will be given in the convocation. University Examination Controller Rakesh Kumar says that the probable list of medal recipients has been released.

Girls’ one-sided medal capture

This year the daughters have unilaterally captured the convocation. Out of 75 medals, 63 medals have gone to daughters alone. Only 12 medals have been won by sons. The highest medals included Chancellor’s Gold Medal and two Chancellor’s Silver Medals will be given to all the daughters. At the same time, out of seven Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medals, six medals will be given to daughters.

Asmita Tripathi, a student of Allen House Business School, Ruma, will be awarded the Chancellor’s Gold Medal, Chancellor’s Silver Medal, Chancellor’s Bronze Medal and Chancellor’s Gold Medal.

23000 failed students of CSJMU will get admission in the third year.

Meanwhile, 23 thousand failed students of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University have got a big relief. Failed students will be promoted and given admission in the third year. Under the new education policy, students who do not pass the back paper in the first and second years will be promoted to the third year. But, they have to pass all the papers before the third semester. Only after that their result will be declared. This decision has been taken in the meeting of the examination committee of the university.

The decision was taken in the interest of the students in the meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor Vinay Kumar Pathak. Actually, there are 25500 students who have not been able to pass the first and second semester examinations. The number of students is more. At the same time, if they are not given admission in the third year, then there will be a difference in the admission of postgraduate students also. Therefore, students have been given another chance.

It has been decided in the meeting that only students with minimum 4 CGPA and 50 credit score will be given a chance. Because of this, out of 25500 students, 23000 students will be able to take advantage of it. Pro Vice Chancellor Sudhir Kumar Awasthi, Registrar Anil Kumar and Controller of Examinations Rakesh Kumar were present in the meeting.
