Kanpur News: The 38th convocation of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) will be held on September 28 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. This time in the convocation, 98 medals will be given to 55 meritorious people. For the first time, the Supreme Chancellor’s Gold Medal will be given to two meritorious students, Shweta Sahu, a student of Triyugi Narayan College, Kanpur Dehat, and Jeet Sharma, a student of DBS College, Kanpur. He has secured 93.44 percent marks. Two Chancellor’s Gold Medals, two Chancellor’s Silver Medals, 29 Chancellor’s Bronze Medals, 12 Chancellor’s Gold Medals and 53 Sponsored Gold Medals will be awarded at the convocation. State Governor Anandiben Patel will preside over the ceremony.

The Vice Chancellor said that a total of 209171 students will be awarded degrees in the convocation to be held on September 28. Four alumni of the university who contributed to the success of Chandrayaan-3 will also be honored at the ceremony. The chief guest at the function was Padmashree Prof., founder of Honey Bee Network. Anil Gupta will be there, Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay and Minister of State for Higher Education Rajni Tiwari will attend as special guests. Padmashree Prof. Manindra Agarwal and Prof. Anil Gupta will be honored with an honorary degree. The Vice Chancellor said that as soon as the degrees of 209171 students are received in the convocation, it will be uploaded in Digi Locker. The university ranks first in uploading degrees in the category.
