CRPF had reached CM House due to crowd gathering: Governor CP Radhakrishnan

Ranchi: Governor CP Radhakrishnan has said that it was a mistake of the government and his party to gather a large crowd of people unnecessarily near the CM House on the day of questioning by the ED. This kind of attitude has to be ended. CRPF was called due to the gathering of such a large number of people near the CM House. Corruption is like cancer for the society. Governor Shri Radhakrishnan was talking to journalists after attending the ‘Voter’s Day Celebration’ organized at Aryabhatta Auditorium on Thursday.

The Governor said that if quality development, quality roads, quality buildings and facilities are wanted, then corruption will have to be ended. The Governor said that voting should not be done on the basis of any caste, religion or language, but voting should be done on the basis of development. Vote should be given to the right person, who works for the society. So that the call for change given by the great leader Jayaprakash Narayan can be implemented.

Vote on the issue of development of nation and society

During the function held at Aryabhatta Auditorium, Governor CP Radhakrishnan appealed to the voters to vote for a strong and robust democracy without any inducement or emotion in the elections. Shri Radhakrishnan said that the right to vote in the democratic process is the biggest weapon for social change. Therefore, it is important that the voter exercises his franchise on the basis of discretion. Because, if seen, after the independence of the country, from 1947 till today, votes are being cast only on the basis of issues like electricity and water. But, now there is a need to think differently from this. Voting should be done on the issue of expected development of the nation and society. Voting rights should not be done only with the thought of political change, but should be done in the spirit that it will bring good changes in the nation and society.
