Prakash Parv 2024: Preparations for Prakash Parv are going on in Patna. Prakash Parv will be celebrated in Patna Sahib from Monday. Due to this, a crowd of devotees is being seen at Patna Sahib station. On the other hand, there has also been a change in the transportation system. People of Sikh community are very excited about Prakash Parv. Patna city has been decorated with lights. It is known that Prakash Parv is being celebrated here from 15th January to 17th January. There will be arrangements for langar on the occasion of 257th Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Ji Maharaj. Thousands of people have reached here from Delhi, Punjab, Mumbai and other places. Special arrangements have been made here for the people. At the same time, there will be a change in the traffic system from tonight. There is a ban on operation of goods vehicles here for five days from today.

The new system will remain in effect till January 18

The traffic arrangement here will change from Sunday night itself. This arrangement will remain in force till January 18. Traffic system of Patna City area: For big commercial vehicles, trucks-tractors etc., heavy vehicles will be completely banned in Patna City area from midnight of 14th January to 12:00 midnight of 18th January. No trucks or tractors etc. will come from Didarganj towards Ashok Rajpath towards west. This will be operational as a new bypass for all vehicles. During this period, commercial goods vehicles carrying essential commodities will be allowed to operate in the market committee from 02:00 pm to 04:00 am. At the same time, the traffic plan will not be applicable on ambulances, dead bodies, patients’ vehicles, devotees’ vehicles and pass holder vehicles.

Operation of vehicles from these places

From 4 am on January 15 to 06:00 am on January 17, there will be no plying of autos and small commercial vehicles on the route from Gaighat to Purba Darwaza in Ashok Rajpath. During this time, these vehicles will operate from Gaighat to Danka Imli via Nabab Bahadur Road, Sudarshan Path, Tulsi Mandi, Agamkuan ROB to Patna Sahib and will return again via the same route. On the other hand, from midnight of January 15 to 6 am on January 18, all types of vehicles will remain closed on the route from West Darwaza to Purba Darwaza. Vehicles coming from the east will be diverted to Morcha Road near Purba Darwaza. Vehicles will operate between Gaighat and West Darwaza. On the day of Nagar Kirtan, on January 16, from 4 am to midnight, all types of vehicles will be closed from Gaighat to Didarganj in Ashok Rajpath. During this time, all types of vehicles going from Gaighat to Patna City will go from Nabav Bahadur Road via Sudarshan Path via Chowk Shikarpur ROB towards Patna Sahib station. Apart from this, in case of any emergency, one can reach PMCH via JP Gangapath on the right from Gaighat. To go towards NMCH, one can reach left from Gaighat via Danka Imli.

Arrangements for accommodation of devotees

On the other side, parking space has also been created. There is parking place at Market Committee, Didarganj, Mangal Talab (Chowk Police Station), Kanganghat (Chowk Police Station). Apart from this, there is a program to take out a big Prabhat Pheri on January 15. There will be a main Diwan and Kirtan Darbar from 15th to 17th January. Nagar Kirtan will be organized on the morning of 16 January. There will be special facilities for tourists. From medical facilities to the deployment of Sashastra Seema Bal. An information center has been opened by the Tourism Department at Kangan Ghat. Special accommodation arrangements have also been made here for tourists. All the devotees will stay in safe tents. Langar for the people will also start here from today. Patna Sahib area is now illuminated with lights. The process of devotees reaching here is currently continuing. For these, 40 trains have been given stoppage by the Railways at Patna Sahib station.
