Firing was done on Friday morning at the house of Sarpanch Meena Devi of Dhankaul Panchayat of Teghda police station area of the district. Four criminals riding two bikes opened fire and fled from the spot. After this incident, panic has spread in the area. On the other hand, criminals had also killed the sarpanch’s son by entering his house last year.
Sarpanch husband saved his life by running inside the house
According to the information, as soon as the criminals started aerial firing at the sarpanch’s house, sarpanch’s husband Subodh Rai entered the house running fast. Because of this his life was saved. Due to this incident, an atmosphere of panic has been created in the sarpanch’s husband and family. However, there is no information about any casualty in this firing.
Sarpanch’s husband Subodh Rai was the target
It is being told that the wanted notorious criminal of Begusarai police, Shivlochan Rai alias Lucia gang’s henchman, targeted the sarpanch’s husband Subodh Rai and carried out this firing. Four rounds of firing were done by the criminals outside the house. Its marks are present on the walls and window panes of the house of Meena Devi, the woman Sarpanch of Dhankaul Panchayat.

The Teghra police-administration was also disturbed by the news of criminals firing at the Sarpanch’s house and threatening to take up the case of Sarpanch’s son Avneesh’s murder. Sarpanch Meena Devi’s husband Subodh Rai told that a day before the incident, the criminals had done Reiki of the house in the evening.
Sarpanch’s son was murdered last year

After the murder of Sarpanch’s son Avneesh, on the orders of Begusarai SP, a police team was camping in the village for the last one year for the safety of the family members of the woman Sarpanch. On the orders of the SP yesterday, on 17th August in the evening, the police team was called back except for one security guard who was camping in Dhankaul Panchayat.
Criminals are being identified with the help of CCTV cameras
Kumbhakarni, the only security guard present in the camp, was fast asleep during the firing incident on Friday morning. After carrying out the incident, all the miscreants of Lucia gang escaped on the bike waving weapons in their hands. Under the leadership of DSP, the police of Teghra police station is examining the footage of the CCTV camera installed in the house of the woman sarpanch of Dhankaul panchayat.
