Where a young man was called from home in Begusarai and shot dead. In Madhepura, drunken bullies beat an elderly Dalit woman to death. Police is searching for the criminals in both the cases. They called the young man from home and shot him
According to the information received from Begusarai, on Monday, miscreants shot dead a young man due to personal rivalry. The incident took place in Bhairwar village of Lakhon assistant police station area. The deceased has been identified as Prince Kumar, 19-year-old son of Sudhir Prasad Singh, a resident of Bhairwar ward under Lakho police station. It is said that on the day of taking bath the young man had just returned home from abroad. This morning, after offering Arghya at Chhath Ghat, he was sitting at home and eating Prasad, when one of his friends called Prince and took him away and shot him dead. The deceased’s sister told that after the murder, the criminals fled after throwing the body at home. When she came out of the house, she saw her brother’s dead body lying there. After this there was chaos among the family members. The family members are in bad condition and crying.
The reasons for the murder are no longer known.
As soon as information about the incident was received, police from two police stations reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The police took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem and started further action. The reasons for the incident have not been known. The sister of the deceased is accusing a young man from the neighborhood named Babli of murder. Police are investigating all points of the incident. There is a lot of anger among the people of the area due to this incident of murder in broad daylight. Angry people blocked NH-31 with the dead body and started demanding the arrest of the accused. Due to NH jam, traffic was completely disrupted. The police reached the spot, convinced the people and ended the jam.
Bullies beat dalit woman to death
Here, according to information received from Madhepura, an elderly Dalit woman was beaten to death by drunken bullies. The incident took place in ward number 11 of Pokharam Parmanandpur Panchayat of Murliganj police station area. There, late at night, a Mahadalit family was attacked by the powerful people of the village, who entered the house and beat up the entire family, making them run around the village. During this time, a 50-year-old elderly woman who came to intervene was beaten to death. The condition of another person in this incident is said to be critical. It is being told that four to five bullies of the village, including Ashok Yadav alias Kari Yadav from the neighborhood, together carried out the incident in an inebriated state. Regarding the incident, Sunita Devi, the daughter-in-law of the deceased, told that when we returned home from Chhath Ghat, my mother-in-law was sitting on the stool with my daughter and we were cooking, when in the meantime people from the neighborhood started using caste-related words. Attacked them while experimenting. Everyone was under the influence of alcohol.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Murliganj police station reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital Madhepura for post-mortem. Madhepura SP Rajesh Kumar said that the incident is related to land dispute.
