The name of the arrested accused has been given as Abhishek Jaiswal (28). He is said to be a resident of Banarasi Ghosh Street area of ​​Girish Park. Police have seized electronic equipment from his possession. The accused will be produced in the Bankshall court on Saturday. Kolkata Police’s Joint Commissioner (Crime) Shankha Shubhra Chakraborty said that the police had received secret information that a betting gang was active inside a cafe located in Madan Chatterjee Street in Girish Park area.

After this information, the Anti Rowdy Squad (ARS) team of Kolkata Police raided that cafe on Friday afternoon. During this time, a young man named Abhishek Jaiswal was caught red-handed while betting on a cricket match. That young man was doing cricket betting by giving betting software and master ID to the customers. Electronic equipment has been seized from the accused youth. For how long has he been doing this business, who else is involved in this business along with him, the police is trying to find out the answers to these questions by interrogating the arrested accused.

MLAs will also reach Eden to watch India-Africa match

The match between India and South Africa is to be held at Eden Garden on Sunday. Bengal MLAs also want to see this contest. CAB sent 293 tickets to the Assembly. The work of giving tickets to MLAs has started. Not for sale is written on these tickets. According to the information, Assembly Speaker Biman Banerjee had written a letter to CAB President Snehasish Gangopadhyay for the tickets of the match. In the letter, the Assembly Speaker had expressed his displeasure over the fact that the MLAs did not get tickets for the match. Also requested that at least one ticket should be arranged for the MLAs. Under this, CAB sent complimentary tickets to the MLAs. Let us tell you that the total number of MLAs in the state assembly is 293. Therefore CAB has sent 293 tickets.
