Mahindra Scorpio-N : Scorpio is included among the big vehicles of Mahindra. The company launched its updated variant Scorpio N in June 2022. For people with big families, this big car has a direct competition in the market with Tata Safari and Hyundai Creta. Mahindra & Mahindra has now updated the features of Scorpio N’s top variant Z8.

How much change in which variant?

Mahindra has reduced the size of alloy wheels in the top Z8 variant of Scorpio N. Earlier, Mahindra was offering 17-inch steel wheels with the Z8 manual and 18-inch alloy wheels with the Z8 automatic variant. Now standard size 17-inch machined alloy wheels have been provided in manual and automatic variants of Scorpio-N Z8 variant. At the same time, more significant changes have been made in the mid-spec Z4 and Z6 variants of Mahindra Scorpio-N. Along with the Z8 variant, these variants will no longer be offered with a cooled glove box. This feature is now limited to the top-spec Z8L variant only. Apart from this, the discount on cooled glovebox in Z4, Z6 and Z8 variants will also be applicable on pending bookings.

Mahindra Scorpio N Price

Mahindra has increased the prices of Scorpio N by about Rs 39,000. Along with this, its ex-showroom price starts from Rs 13.60 lakh and goes up to Rs 24.54 lakh. Mahindra Scorpio N is available in total four variants Z2, Z4, Z6 and Z8. This SUV car comes in 6-seater and 7-seater layout.

Mahindra Scorpio N Engine

Mahindra Scorpio N has both petrol and diesel engine options. It has a 2.2-litre diesel engine with two power tunings (132 PS per 300 Nm) and 175 PS (370 Nm and 400 Nm). The output of its 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine is 203 PS (370 Nm and 380 Nm). With both engines, it gets 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox. Rear-wheel-drive drivetrain is standard with all powertrains, while 4-wheel-drive option is also available with the diesel engine.

Mahindra Scorpio N Features and Competition

Mahindra Scorpio N SUV car has 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual zone climate control, cruise control, wireless phone charging and 360 degree camera. Apart from this, it also includes steering mounted controls, sunroof and semi-digital instrument cluster. For the safety of the passengers, it has been provided with multiple airbags, rear parking camera, hill assist control and Electronic Stability Control (ESC). In the market it competes with Tata Harrier, Tata Safari and Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Alcazar and Mahindra XUV700.
