Corona Virus In Bihar: After the appearance of the new variant of Covid JN-1, the risk of corona has increased once again in Bihar. On Saturday, reports of six people came Corona positive in Gaya district. After which there has been a stir. The age of all the patients is below 20 years. After confirmation by RTPCR test, everyone has been kept in home isolation. Also, samples of infected patients have been sent to IGIMS, Patna for genome sequencing.
6 people found corona positive
According to the information, samples of all the infected were taken on 29, 28, 27 and 26 December. Of those found positive, five are from Gaya, while one person is from Aurangabad. Among the infected people, one each from Sakardas Nawada of Wazirganj, Belaganj and Tikari Road of the city. Apart from this, the report of two people in the samples taken on December 27 is also positive. One person is from Imamganj and one is from Amas. At the same time, on December 26, a person from Aurangabad had given his sample in OPD, his report also came positive. Everyone has been informed about the report on their phone numbers and has been kept in home isolation.
The age of positive patients is below 20 years.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Ranjan Kumar Singh said that all the samples have been sent to IGIMS, Patna for genome sequencing, so that the variants of Corona can be detected. Also, people are being appealed to remain alert to avoid infection. The age of the patients who came positive is below 20 years.
No travel history of infected patients
The civil surgeon said that instructions have been given to conduct corona test when the patients suffering from cold and cough reach the hospital. None of the patients found positive so far have travel history. Apart from hospitals, random testing is being done at the airport. However, there is no need to worry about infection. The health department is prepared to deal with difficult situations. All hospitals have been put on alert.

Out of hundreds of patients reaching the hospital, 80 percent are asking the same question – Sir, I am having cold and cough, am I infected with Corona virus? On this, the paramedical staff and doctors explain to them that common cold and cough are not symptoms of corona. Doctors are advising to take medicine, you will be fine.
Corona infected people have been found in these districts
Bihar Health Department is also on alert after new variant of Corona patients were found in the country. Instructions have also been given to civil surgeons of all the districts in this regard. After which Corona investigation is being done continuously. Due to which cases of corona infection are being reported from different districts. Now three Corona patients were found in Patna, while one patient was found in Sasaram and one in Muzaffarpur. At the same time, now Corona has knocked in Gaya also. Random sampling is also being done at Patna, Gaya and Darbhanga airports.
Corona test mandatory before surgery in AIIMS and IGIMS
Due to Corona, precautions are also being taken regarding surgeries in hospitals. Now corona testing of patients before surgery has been made mandatory in Patna AIIMS and IGIMS. In this regard, orders were also issued by the Director of AIIMS and Director of IGIMS. Before surgery in general surgery, ortho surgery, nose, ear, throat disease and eye disease, the patient will be tested for Covid. After negative report in RTPCR test, instructions have been issued to perform surgery on the patient, and masks have been made mandatory at the time of OPD and admission.
