First corona case found in Muzaffarpur
The first positive case of Corona has been found in Muzaffarpur district. In the investigation report that came on Friday, one person was found corona positive. He is said to be a resident of Muraul. He has no travel history, Nodal Officer Dr CK Das has confirmed the positive case of Corona. He told that his sample was taken for RTPCR test last Wednesday. On Thursday, the sample was sent to SKMCH lab for testing. He has been found positive in the report that came on Friday. He has been kept in home isolation. He will be monitored three times. If his problems increase, he will be admitted to the Corona ward of SKMCH. Information about its daily activities is being taken by the Health Department.
Corona patient has no travel history
The first Corona patient found in Muzaffarpur told the health department official that he lives at home. He has no travel history. He was feeling unwell for the last five days. When he went to the PHC and saw the doctor, he was prescribed a corona test. Here, the department has decided to conduct corona test for those who have come in contact with the positive patient.

With the emergence of Corona cases in Muzaffarpur district, prevention efforts have also intensified. Now there is a plan to test 500 people daily in urban and rural areas of the district for the next five days. The Health Department has demanded 10 thousand RTPCR kits for this. Currently only 550 kits are left in the central store. These kits will be exhausted within one day of investigation. RTPCR kits will be available as per demand by late Monday evening. In-charge Civil Surgeon Dr. Gyan Shankar said that demand for kits has been sent to the districts. Along with this, five hundred people will be tested every day.
