The state government has alerted the District Health Committee amid increasing cases of the new variant of Corona JN.1 in many states including Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Jharkhand. The health department of the district is on alert mode regarding this. Civil Surgeon Dr. Anil Kumar Sinha said that as per the instructions, corona testing has been started at Darbhanga Airport. The arriving passengers are being screened. He informed that antigen rapid test kits are being provided to all the PHCs and subdivision hospitals of the district. When patients with difficulty in breathing arrive in hospitals, first of all they have to be tested with Antigen Rapid Test Kit. Not a single patient has been found here yet. The health department is laying special emphasis on investigation. Along with this, people are being asked to remain alert.
