Convocation ceremony will be organized in CSJMU on 28th September, Asmita will get four medals including Chancellor’s Gold Medal.

Kanpur: The 38th convocation of Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University will be held on September 28. Governor Anandiben Patel will preside over the convocation ceremony. Governor Anandiben Patel will give the medal in the 38th convocation ceremony of the university. For the first time, a student of professional course will get the highest medal of the university in the convocation. Till now the arts faculty has been dominant. In the last convocation, B.Ed student Radha Gupta had received the Chancellor’s Gold Medal.

List of medals released

Let us tell you that the convocation of CSJMU is on 28th September. The final list of medals to be awarded at the ceremony was released. There has been a tough competition for the highest medal in the list, Chancellor’s Gold and Vice-Chancellor’s Silver. Asmita Tripathi, who got the highest medal, has got 87.83 percent marks. Shubhra Aggarwal, who received the Chancellor’s Silver Medal in second place, lagged behind by just 0.18 percent. Shubhra has secured 87.65 percent marks.

Shubhra has studied Microbiology from School of Sciences, CSJMU. Chancellor’s Gold Medal, Chancellor’s Silver Medal, Chancellor’s Bronze Medal, Chancellor’s Gold Medal and Sponsored Gold Medal will be given in the convocation. University’s examination controller Rakesh Kumar says that the probable list of medal recipients has been released. If any student has any objection then he/she can lodge the objection till 12th September.

One-sided medal capture of daughters

This year the daughters have unilaterally captured the convocation. Out of 75 medals, 63 medals have gone to daughters alone. Only 12 medals have been won by sons. The Chancellor’s Gold Medal and two Chancellor’s Silver Medals included in the highest medal will be given to all daughters. At the same time, daughters will get six medals out of seven vice-chancellor gold medals.

Asmita will get these four medals

Asmita Tripathi, a student of Allen House Business School, Ruma, will be awarded Chancellor’s Gold Medal, Chancellor’s Silver Medal, Chancellor’s Bronze Medal and Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal.
