Nanpara’s Deputy Superintendent of Police Rahul Pandey said on Monday that Pastor Baburam in Siddhanpurwa village of Nanpara Kotwali area is accused of luring poor villagers to convert them. Pandey said that on Sunday, a case was registered against 19 people on charges of illegal conversion, after which 10 people including Baburam have been arrested. He told that there is an allegation that Baburam and his wife were motivating the villagers to convert by luring them to get rid of cancer and other diseases by exorcism.
