Permission will have to be taken from DM before installing the statue.

According to the local police station, there has been a ruckus after the statue of BP Mandal was installed without permission at the main entrance of the art gallery in Kankaul, Begusarai. A youth attacked Sadar BDO. However, due to vigilance the BDO did not suffer any damage. After this, the police reached the spot and took the accused youth into custody. In this case, BDO Sudama Prasad Singh said that the idol was installed at the main entrance of the auditorium cum auditorium by unknown people. In this regard, based on the information received from the Sadar SDO, when he reached the spot and made inquiries, these people did not show the order to install the statue. When they were returning after recording the statement, a goon-like boy standing with them attacked them fatally.

The talk of attack was wrong, there was snatching

BDO Singh said that those who installed the idol said that they do not follow the rules and regulations. This is government property. DM’s consent is required before installing a statue on any government land, but they said that we do not need any permission. In this regard, people of All India Constitutional Chintan Manch say that we had placed the statue of BP Mandal after taking orders from the CM. He was a social justice pioneer, so we placed the statue there. When the auditorium was named BP Mandal Auditorium Chief Minister, then why wouldn’t we keep the statue. If keeping this idol is a crime then we are criminals. The BDO stopped people from taking photos on their mobiles, hence people in anger snatched their mobiles too, but the matter is being blown out of proportion unnecessarily.
