Controversy in Parliament over government in Jharkhand, Piyush Goyal’s counterattack on Kharge’s statement, opposition walkout from Lok Sabha

There was a dispute between the government and the opposition in the country’s Parliament on Friday (February 2) over the new government in Jharkhand. Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Central Government in the Rajya Sabha on the issue of arrest of Hemant Soren and subsequent delay in formation of the new government. On behalf of the Centre, Piyush Goyal hit back at Congress. At the same time, the constituent parties of the Indian National Democratic Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) walked out of the Lok Sabha on the same issue.

Mallikarjun Kharge raised the issue of Jharkhand in Parliament

As soon as Parliament began, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge raised the issue of Jharkhand. He criticized the Central Government for not inviting the grand alliance government of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). Kharge said that the Constitution is being flouted in Jharkhand.

Early in Bihar, why so much delay in Jharkhand: Kharge

Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge said in the Rajya Sabha that despite the majority, there was so much delay in inviting the Grand Alliance to form the government. At the same time, in Bihar, when Nitish Kumar’s party Janata Dal United broke the alliance with Congress and RJD and resigned from the post of Chief Minister, he was immediately invited to form the government. At the same time, in Jharkhand there was such a delay deliberately.

Piyush Goyal said- Congress does not speak on the corruption of Jharkhand government.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal hit back at this. He said that a Chief Minister in Jharkhand had to resign because he was arrested in a corruption case. Congress party does not talk about that corruption. Congress party should tell whether it is with the corruption of Jharkhand government.
