Due to the threat of extremist organization TPC, the construction work of water tank in Netarhat has come to a standstill for the last two months. According to the information, a water tank was being constructed near the Netarhat pond under the Drinking Water Supply Scheme by the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation. On June 13, the TPC had issued an order to stop the work by pasting posters at the construction site regarding the levy.
Since the posting of the poster, till now the construction has been stopped by the sensor. The said construction work is being done jointly by two companies named Septra PO and JV Shiva Kant Mishra. The said work is to be completed by March 2024, but till now even 50 percent work has not been done by the sensor.
In the pasted poster, warning the sensor, it has been said that military action will be taken if it works without talking to the organization. When asked in this regard, Netarhat police station in-charge Bandhan Bhagat told that he is not aware of the matter, but still he is investigating the matter from his level.
