The police team has foiled a conspiracy to spread terror during the Aurangabad Lok Sabha elections. By raiding Simri Arteri village of Mali police station area, the police recovered a 315 bore rifle and cartridges and arrested the vicious person. Information related to the arrest and recovery was shared by SP Swapna ji Meshram through a press conference. SP said that Deputy Superintendent of Police of Cyber Police Station, Dr. Anu Kumari received secret information that an illegal firearm has been kept by a person in Simri Arteri village of Mali police station area and it can create law and order problems during the elections.
Country made rifle, seven live cartridges, three shells recovered
After the information, a special team was formed. DIU team along with Cyber Police Station and Mali Police Station raided the house of Vijendra Kumar located in Arteri Simri village. In this sequence, the police first caught him and then his house was searched. In this sequence, a country made rifle of 315 bore, seven live cartridges, three shells and a mobile were recovered. The accused was interrogated for a long time.
Vijendra Mehta arrested
In this matter, further action was taken by registering an FIR as case number 70/24 in Mali police station. The arrested accused Vijendra Mehta is the son of Rampravesh Mehta of Arteri Simri village. The SP said that the investigation is underway as to where the weapon came from and why it was kept. The raid team included police inspector Ashok Kumar, inspector Neha Ranjan, constable Rohit Kumar, Anamika Kumari as well as the technical team of the cyber police station. . Sadar SDPO Sanjay Kumar Pandey, Cyber DSP Dr. Anu Kumari were also present in the press conference.
