CPI Maoists are planting IED bombs in the forest of West Singhbhum with the aim of harming the police, but the security forces are thwarting their plans. During the search operation in the forest of Goilkera police station area, two IED bombs (8 and 5 kg) were recovered on Monday. So far 169 IED bombs have been recovered.
Bomb disposal squad defused IED
Two IED bombs were planted in the forest between Maradiri to Chhota Kuida of Goilkera police station area of West Singhbhum district with the aim of harming the security forces, but during the search operation, the police foiled the conspiracy of the Naxalites and seized it. After this the bomb disposal squad defused it. Let us tell you that one IED bomb was of 8 kg and the other was of 5 kg.
Campaign running continuously since January 11
