Congress scared before 2024 Lok Sabha elections! Digvijay Singh sings an old raga, know what he said

Congress on EVM: Today is the first day of the year 2024. There is a flood of congratulations everywhere. Be it political party leaders or international players, government officials or private employees, everyone is wishing each other a Happy New Year. But, the new year is also bringing many new challenges and events. There is going to be a big battle in Indian politics this year. We are talking about Lok Sabha elections. Although all the political parties are preparing for the general elections, but the Congress Party has been making statements regarding the elections since the beginning of the year and is raising questions on the election system. congress leader Digvijay Singh has once again played the old tune and put EVM in the dock.

‘Voters should get VVPAT slips’

Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh once again raised questions on Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) on Sunday and demanded that voters should get VVPAT slips, which can be inserted in the ballot boxes. Responding to a video raising questions on the use of EVMs in elections, Digvijay Singh said that he has been saying since 2003 that he does not trust EVMs.

‘Where has the vote for the person I want to vote for gone?’

He has also alleged that it is not possible to know where the vote for the person I want to cast has gone. He also said that there is no machine in the world fitted with a chip which cannot be hacked, because the chip will follow the orders of the software installed in it (machine). Giving an example, he said that if you type ‘A’ then the software will say only ‘A’ and only ‘A’ will be visible.

‘You can watch this game in Rahul Mehta’s video’

Digvijay Singh said in his post, “Suppose you press ‘Panja’ (Congress’ election symbol) on the EVM, then what will be seen printed if the software says ‘Lotus’? Paw or lotus? Now the matter comes down to this that the VVPAT machine showed you ‘Panja’ for seven seconds and we (i.e. you) went away happy, but ‘Kamal’ (BJP’s election symbol) will be seen printed. You can watch this game in Rahul Mehta’s video.

‘Conduct elections through ballot papers’

He said that the opposition has been demanding that elections should be conducted through ballot papers as is done in all developed countries. He said, “Vote counting will take a little more time.” Let it take effect. But the public will be assured that it got the vote for the person it wanted to vote for. Even this is not known today. If Narendra Modi ji and our Election Commission love EVMs so much then why do they not show the VVPAT slip, give us this and we will keep it in the ballot boxes.
