Congress is unhappy about which Lok Sabha seats in Bihar? Know where the problem is with RJD…

With RJD’s claim on Purnia, the issue of distribution of Lok Sabha seats among the constituent parties of the Grand Alliance has once again become complicated. There was a possibility of an agreement between the two parties after the meeting held with former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and Congress National Alliance Committee chief Mukul Wasnik on Tuesday in New Delhi. He also gave the RJD symbol from Purnia to Bima Bharti on Wednesday. It became blurry. Apart from Purnia, Congress is also adamant on Aurangabad seat. Thursday is the last day of nomination in Aurangabad.

Demand for Begusarai seat for Kanhaiya

According to RJD sources, it is ready to give eight or nine seats to Congress. But, most of these seats are not of Congress’s choice. According to political experts, there is currently a deadlock between RJD and Congress for two seats. The deadlock is regarding Purnia and Katihar seats. Due to the changed equation, both the seats are in trouble. Meanwhile, Congress is also demanding Begusarai seat. However, CPI has already declared its candidate for this seat. Actually, experts say that Congress was exploring possibilities for famous student leader Kanhaiya Kumar on Begusarai seat. However, apart from RJD, the constituent parties of the Grand Alliance do not seem to be at all ready for this. Political experts say that when the initial discussions were going on about seat distribution in the Grand Alliance, Congress did not show any special interest in this seat. Now Congress has put pressure on this seat. CPI does not want to leave this seat as it is considered its traditional seat. This has also been his stronghold.

Katihar is a seat of prestige for Congress

Katihar is a prestige seat for Congress, from where its leader Tariq Anwar has won the elections five times. RJD is also hesitant for Katihar. There RJD wants to make Ashfaq Karim a candidate. Karim’s tenure in Rajya Sabha is ending in April. Ignoring Congress, RJD has completed the seat deal with the Left parties. It has given three seats to CPI(ML) and one each to CPI(M) and CPI.

Talks are also going on with Mukesh Sahni..!

Apart from the Left parties, RJD is also in talks with Mukesh Sahni, founder of Vikassheel Insaan Party. Mukesh is demanding three seats. RJD is ready to give him one seat in North Bihar. Sources said that they can get two more seats with the condition that candidates recommended by RJD will contest the elections on VIP symbol. However, the state leadership of both RJD and Congress denies the possibility of coordination breaking.

What do Congress and RJD leaders say?

State Congress President Dr. Akhilesh Prasad Singh said that the symbol given to a candidate is also returned. Former Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said – Our alliance is the oldest, we have been together in any situation and have contested elections. This alliance will not break. We are always together, united and united to defeat BJP. On broken news, he said that all the news is being run according to the agenda. There has been no mention of any rift among us on anything.
