Acharya Pramod Krishnam But Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has taken major action and expelled him from the party for 6 years. This action was taken against Acharya Pramod in view of complaints of indiscipline and repeated statements against the party.
Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee had proposed to expel Acharya Pramod from the party.
It is noteworthy that Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee had given the proposal to expel Acharya Pramod Krishnam from the party. Which was approved by party president Mallikarjun Kharge and Acharya Pramod was expelled from the party with immediate effect.

Krishnam has been criticizing the decisions of the Congress leadership for some time now.
Krishnam had contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Lucknow on a Congress ticket, but he lost. For some time now he has been criticizing some decisions of the Congress leadership. Krishnam had also criticized the decision of Congress leaders not to participate in the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on January 22.
Krishnam raised questions on INDIA alliance
Acharya Pramod Krishnam had recently given a big statement on INDIA Alliance. He had said, I think there is no such thing as INDIA Alliance. After meeting PM Modi, Acharya Pramod Krishnam had fiercely targeted Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. While praising PM Modi, he took a dig at Rahul Gandhi. Acharya Pramod Krishnam had said after meeting PM Modi that he has been wanting to meet Rahul Gandhi for the last one year, but is not able to meet him.
