CM Yogi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 258 development works worth 1045 crores in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will gift many development works to the residents of Gorakhpur on Sunday. The Chief Minister will gift some or the other development works to almost all the Vidhansabha of Gorakhpur. The foundation stone and inauguration of 258 development works costing Rs 1045.66 crore is to be done by the Chief Minister on Sunday. 56 development works worth Rs 333.85 crore are to be inaugurated in a function organized on the grounds of Hindustan Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (fertilizer factory). At the same time, the foundation stone of 202 development works worth Rs 711.81 crore will also be laid by the Chief Minister. Many projects of tourism development of religious places are also included in the work of inauguration-foundation by the hands of CM.

These projects will be inaugurated

Among the projects to be inaugurated by the Chief Minister, the Bhiti, Bansgaon, Gola road will be widened and strengthened at a cost of Rs 14.09 crore, Khajni-Sikriganj road will be widened and strengthened at a cost of Rs 43.92 crore, and Pipraich- at a cost of Rs 23.69 crore. For the widening and strengthening of the Jagdishpur road, Rs 15.33 crore will be used for the widening and strengthening of the Sihapar-Ghagsara road, Rs 13.55 crore for the widening and strengthening of the Ramnagar Kadjahan to Tarkulani regulator road, and for the strengthening of the Kuano river in Khajni. Bridge approach road and protective works have been included at Bankata Ghat.

Foundation stone of these projects will be laid

In view of ease of movement, the Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone of four lanes inside the city and two rail overbridges in the outer part. Four lane from Padleganj to Firak Gorakhpuri Chowk will be built at a cost of Rs 277 crore 77 lakh 94 thousand. 115 crore 76 lakh 86 thousand rupees will be spent on the construction of two lane overbridge parallel to the pre-built rail overbridge at level crossing number 162A between Domingarh to Gorakhpur Junction railway station. The second rail overbridge will be built on level crossing number 14C between Maniram-PPGanj on Gorakhpur-Anandnagar railway line. 151 crore 42 lakh 26 thousand rupees will be spent on its construction.

respect of faith along with basic facilities

Along with basic facilities, the Yogi government has also paid attention to the respect of faith. Many works of tourism development of religious places have been included in the projects to be inaugurated and the foundation stone laid on Sunday. If we look at the major works, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the tourism development work of Budhia Mai Temple located in Kusamhi Jungle with Rs 1.60 crore, the beautification work of Chachairam Math located in Uruva with Rs 1.69 crore. In the same sequence, the ancient Shiva site at Campierganj’s Balua, Thakurji temple at Sonaura Khurd, Gaurishankar temple at Bhaisla, ancient Shiva site at Bharohiya in Khajni, Jaishwarnath temple at Harnahi Marg, Shiva temple at Bankatiya in Sahajanwa, Belghat at Khajni. The Hanuman temple located, the foundation stone of the tourism development works of Shiv temple located at Lakhesra in Pipraich will be laid.

  • Under AMRUT programme, Gorakhpur Sewerage Scheme Zone-A1, Northern part – cost Rs 136.28 crore.

  • Mini stadium in Dubauli located in Chaurichoura assembly constituency – cost Rs 4.89 crore.

  • Hostel in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University Campus. Cost Rs 2.81 crore.

  • Mamta Government Mentally Retarded Girls School – Cost Rs 9.02 crore.

  • New Mentally Retarded Shelter Home cum Training Center Residential – Cost Rs.7.05 crore.

  • Academic block at Kasturba Balika Vidyalaya, Mahmudabad, Pipraich – cost Rs 1.38 crore.

  • OBC Girls Hostel at Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology – Cost Rs 2.07 crore.
