In this month, Uttar Pradesh Day is celebrated on 24th January and Republic Day is celebrated on 26th January. The coming time is very sensitive from the point of view of law and order. In such a situation, we will have to make concrete arrangements. This time is also an opportunity for us to do global branding of the state. There is a deep connection of public sentiments on the occasion of Shri Ram Lalla’s enthronement in Ayodhya. On this occasion of Lord’s presence in the grand divine temple, people will perform bhajans and kirtans in the temples during the day and celebrate Deepotsav by lighting Shri Ram Jyoti in the evening. On this historic occasion of immense faith and joy, there will be a public holiday in the entire state including educational institutions and government offices. Liquor shops etc. should remain closed.

Keep a close eye on scammers and snatchers in fairs – CM Yogi

CM Yogi said that a special campaign for statewide cleanliness is starting from Ayodhya from January 14. I myself will be present in Ayodhya. Connect teachers, students, Mangal Dals, social workers with this campaign. Every temple, hospital, school, road and street should be cleaned. Increase public awareness to not use single use plastic. After January 22, there is a possibility of 2-3 lakh devotees arriving in Ayodhya every day. Ayodhya administration will have to be prepared for this. Special attention will have to be paid to parking and cleanliness. The transport department should arrange for at least 500 additional buses. Will have to be ready for security 24×7. There is a need to further improve the residential facilities of hotels/dharamshalas/tent cities and home stays in Ayodhya. It is necessary to increase their number. Those who stay here should get better facilities. On the occasions of fairs etc., a large number of people are present. On such occasions, molesters and snatchers become active. There should be special monitoring on these.

Along with Ayodhya, wherever fairs have been organised, public assistance and lost and found desks should be set up. At least more than 10 thousand CCTV cameras should be installed in Ayodhya. To conduct the fairs safely, prepare a better action plan for crowd and traffic management. Increase the number of parking spaces as needed. After the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, every road leading to Ayodhya should be prepared as a green corridor. There should be no encroachment anywhere. No vehicle should be parked anywhere except in unavoidable circumstances. If this is found to be happening, the vehicle should be immediately removed with a crane. He further said that UP Day is being celebrated on 24th January. Republic Day is on 26th January. The entire state should be connected to this.

No person should shiver from cold – CM Yogi

CM Yogi said that cold and fog have a big impact in the state. It is our responsibility to ensure that no person shivers from the cold and to provide blankets to every needy. Activate night shelters. Officers entered the field. Help the needy with a spirit of service. We also have to take care of animals during cold weather. Arrangements for protection from cold wave and fodder etc. should be made in cow shelter sites. At the core of all the public welfare efforts of the state government is the satisfaction of the common man and the progress of the state. All officers/personnel associated with government and administration should understand this. Be it senior officers posted in the government or officers appointed in the field, it is the responsibility of everyone to promptly dispose of the applications received on IGRS on priority. Any kind of laxity/negligence/delay will not be accepted in this.

Hear the applications received in IGRS – CM Yogi

Be it the applications received in IGRS or the complainants reaching the CM Helpline or the police station/tehsil/development block, all should be heard. Understand the state of mind of the victim/troubled person, respect his feelings and the solution should be given with complete sensitivity. The satisfaction of the complainant and his feedback will be the standard of performance of the officers. By giving top priority to public hearing, ensure solution to the problems of the common people. Police Station Day and Tehsil Day should be made more effective. He further said that sensitive departments have done good work regarding IGRS/CM helpline. Others should take inspiration from such departments, district magistrates, police captains, police stations and tehsils. Districts, police stations and tehsils which are not performing satisfactorily need to improve their functioning. Officers posted in the field of the department who have direct contact with the public must allocate at least one hour every day for public hearing.
