CM Yogi inspected three night shelters of Gorakhpur city, said – every needy should get the best facilities

While distributing blankets and food among the needy people outside the night shelters, the Chief Minister asked them about the benefits of schemes like ration card, housing etc. He directed the officers present on the spot to organize camps and provide benefits of government schemes to every needy person. While talking to the media after inspecting the night shelters, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that to protect the common people from the severe cold and cold wave, funds have been released to every district for purchasing and distributing blankets in sufficient quantity. Instructions have also been given to distribute woolen clothes. Besides, arrangements are also being made for adequate number of water fountains in public places. The Chief Minister said that complete measures have been taken to protect against the severe cold. He further said that being an MLA along with the Chief Minister, he has gone out on inspection to get information about night shelters and measures taken to protect against cold. As part of a campaign in the entire state, public representatives are also distributing blankets and woolen clothes. This is also our commitment and responsibility. During the inspection, when Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asked about their well-being and needs, the faces of the people staying in night shelters lit up. He could not believe that the Chief Minister himself had come to him to inquire about his stay and food. During the inspection of night shelters, MP Ravikishan, MLA Vipin Singh, Mayor Dr Manglesh Srivastava and officials of administration, police and municipal corporation were present.
