Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Said that the central and state governments are running schemes for every section, the benefits of which have reached the common man. In India, a population of 140 crores has been getting free ration for three years, whereas in Pakistan with a population of only 22 crores, they are in need of bread.
UP is the state with the largest number of municipal bodies in the country.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Said this on Thursday on the occasion of inauguration, foundation stone laying and release of books of 2,029 development projects worth 8,731 crores of the Urban Development Department in Lucknow. He said that Uttar Pradesh is today the state with the largest number of municipal bodies in the country. There are 762 municipal bodies in the state. It is home to a population of about seven crores, for whose facilities work is being done. Many states and countries do not even have such a population. He said that we will form a board at the state level for the cleanliness of the cities, which will look after the system of cleanliness. The Chief Minister said that the sweepers must get a good salary.
More than 17 lakh poor got housing in cities
CM Yogi said that so far more than 17 lakh poor have been provided one house each in the urban areas in the state. If rural areas are also included, then the number of houses available to the poor becomes 54 lakh.
Development works being done in every field
The Chief Minister said that facilities like vaccine, treatment have been given free of cost in the country. Development plans are being carried forward indiscriminately. Somewhere air connectivity is being given and somewhere metro work is being done. Somewhere ropeways are being built, and somewhere smart city work is going on. Civil line is being laid under Amrit Yojana. The scheme of every household tap is being realized. For the poor who do not have the capacity to build a house due to any reason, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is their support. With all these works, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, every person has seen his dreams come true.
