CM Nitish Kumar worshiped in Vishnupad temple, laid the foundation stone of Dharamshala to be built at a cost of 120 crores

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, Finance Minister to take stock of the preparations made so far by the district administration and to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development schemes for the International Pitrupaksha fair to be held in Mokshadham Gaya from September 28 to October 14 this year. Vijay Chaudhary and many other ministers of Bihar government reached Gayaji on Friday by air.

CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav reached Vishnupad temple at 12:40 pm. After reaching here, he first worshiped the feet of Lord Vishnu. After anointing Lord Vishnu’s feet with water, milk and curd, CM Nitish Kumar performed the ritual of Tulsi-Archana under the direction of priest Praveen Pathak.

On reaching the Vishnupad temple, CM and Deputy CM were welcomed by Shri Vishnupad Management Committee President Shambhu Lal Vittal, members Mani Lal Barik, Mahesh Lal Gupta and other members associated with the committee. After worshiping, the officials of the committee honored Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, Finance Minister Vijay Chaudhary by giving them organ clothes. On this occasion, Cooperative Minister of Bihar Government Dr. Surendra Prasad Yadav, Legislative Councilor Dr. Kumud Verma, former MLA Abhay Kushwaha and many other leaders of JDU were also present.

After this, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached to lay the foundation stone of Dharamshala to be built at Chandchaura with a cost of 120 crores. The Chief Minister reached the IDH campus at 1:18 pm along with Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Chief Secretary and DGP. Agriculture Minister Kumar Sarvjit, Gurua MLA Vinay Kumar Yadav, former Legislative Councilor Anuj Singh, JDU leader Raju Varnwal etc. were already present here.

The Chief Minister immediately left for Bodh Gaya after laying the foundation stone. According to the information received, the five-storey Dharamshala is to be built on 4.38 acres. There will be arrangement for parking of 300 cars and 50 buses with accommodation for 1080 people. Mainly Dharamshala is being built for the purpose of providing accommodation to the Pinddaanis who reach on the occasion of Pitrupaksha. There will be arrangement of both staircase and lift along with dining room, bathroom, toilet etc. on every floor for the devotees. There will be separate arrangements for the stay of the employees and drivers of the vehicles. Separate arrangements have been made for solar lights in Dharamshala. Provision for toilet, Sudha parlor and tea shop has also been made in the premises.
