CM Nitish Kumar inspected the construction of Ganga Path, instructed to complete the remaining work soon

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday reviewed the progress of the ongoing construction work near Gaighat of JP Ganga Path Project in Patna and directed the officials to complete the construction work expeditiously. During the inspection, the Chief Minister said that the early completion of the remaining construction work will make the movement of people easier. The Chief Minister asked the officials to provide better connectivity than Gandhi Setu near Gaighat of JP Ganga Path. This will facilitate the connectivity of JP Ganga Path with Gandhi Setu. After this, the Chief Minister took stock of the connectivity from JP Setu to NH-19 Hajipur-Chhapra.

Chhapra and Hajipur traffic will be facilitated

Ganga Path has been connected to NH-19 near Bakarpur through JP Setu. With this, another easy way will be available for the people to go from Patna to Chhapra and Hajipur. During the inspection, the Chief Minister said that many works of road construction and bridge construction have been done to further improve the connectivity of North Bihar and South Bihar.

Work on many projects to get rid of jam

The CM said that work is being done on several important road projects to make the connectivity more accessible to the people coming and going out of Patna, as well as to get rid of the problem of jam in Patna city. During this, Additional Chief Secretary of Road Construction Department Pratyay Amrit told that the construction work of JP Ganga Path till Gaighat is going on fast and will be completed soon.

During the inspection Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary of Road Construction Department Pratyay Amrit, Secretary to Chief Minister Anupam Kumar, Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister Gopal Singh, Managing Director of Bihar State Road Development Corporation Shirshat Kapil Ashok, District Magistrate of Patna Chandrashekhar Singh, Patna’s Senior Superintendent of Police Rajeev Mishra and other senior officers and engineers were present.
