CM Hemant Soren said – Increase the number of Pragya centers in rural areas, do not have to go round the block

Ranchi: While reviewing the work progress of the Panchayati Raj Department, Chief Minister Hemant Soren gave several important guidelines to the officers. He said that the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts should set up more number of Pragya Kendras in rural areas. Operate Pragya Kendra in all the villages. People from remote rural areas do not have to visit the block office for small tasks, with the thought that Pragya centers should be fully functional, so that general public can get birth certificate, death certificate, caste certificate, income certificate. Making new Aadhaar card and correction of mistake in Aadhaar card etc. can be made available at their nearest Pragya Kendra in time. The Chief Minister directed the officials that electricity, water, generator, internet connectivity and other necessary facilities including security should be made available in all Pragya centers of the state within the next 3 months.
