Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s campaign against the Centre’s ordinance continues. In this episode, CM Kejriwal has written a letter to the leaders of the opposition parties. Significantly, before the meeting of non-BJP parties in Patna on June 23, a discussion has been requested on the ordinance of the Center related to the control of administrative services in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal has written in the letter that what is happening in Delhi today, tomorrow it can happen in other states as well. Chief Minister of Bihar and leader of Janata Dal (United) Nitish Kumar has decided to contest the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. A meeting of opposition parties has been called on Friday to chalk out a joint strategy.

Ordinance could not be passed in Rajya Sabha
National convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Kejriwal has appealed to the opposition parties regarding the ordinance, this ordinance could not be passed in the Rajya Sabha, he said that it should be discussed on priority. CM Kejriwal has written in his letter that the Center has done an experiment in Delhi by bringing this ordinance. He said that if this experiment is successful, the Center will take away the powers of the states by bringing similar ordinances in the states where there is no BJP government.

Kejriwal attacked the Center
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said, if the situation remains like this, then the day is not far when PM will run 33 states of the country through Lieutenant Governors and Governors. Significantly, Arvind Kejriwal is gathering the opposition against the ordinance of the Center. He has met leaders of several parties including West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Uddhav Thackeray of Shiv Sena (UBT) in Maharashtra, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren on this issue.

In fact, on May 19, the Center had issued an ordinance to set up an authority on the transfer and posting of Group-A officers in Delhi, which the Aam Aadmi Party government termed as cheating with the Supreme Court’s decision. Prior to the May 11 verdict of the apex court, the matters of transfer and posting of all officers in the Delhi government were under the executive control of the Lieutenant Governor.
