Officers’ meeting was held on Friday

Tihar Jail administration had held a meeting with Delhi and Punjab Police last Friday regarding Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s meeting with CM Arvind Kejriwal. Security preparations for the meeting were discussed in the meeting. In the meeting, ADG AK Pandey of Punjab Police had a meeting with the officials of Tihar Jail. In the three-hour meeting, the Chief Minister’s protocol, his security and the jail manual were discussed.

Bhagwant Mann had written a letter to the jail administration

It is noteworthy that earlier Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann had written a letter to Tihar Jail administration seeking permission to meet CM Kejriwal. Accepting his letter on April 6, the jail administration also gave permission for the meeting. However, later the Tihar Jail administration rejected the meeting citing security. Hearing on Kejriwal’s application is to be held in the Supreme Court today

CM Arvind Kejriwal has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the ED arrest. Kejriwal’s petition will be heard in the Supreme Court today. It is noteworthy that earlier, while hearing Kejriwal’s petition, the High Court had justified the ED’s arrest. After this, Kejriwal filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the order of Delhi High Court. According to the report, the bench of Justice Sanjeev Khanna and Justice Dipankar Dutta in the Supreme Court will hear Kejriwal’s petition.

Kejriwal’s remand is ending today

The judicial custody of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is ending today i.e. on Monday (April 15). In such a situation, ED will present him in Rouse Avenue Court today. Let us tell you, CM Arvind Kejriwal is lodged in Tihar Jail in a money laundering case related to the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam.
