Actually, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi VK Saxena said today i.e. on Saturday that subsidy on electricity, water and bus fare will continue in Delhi. He told the people of Delhi that there is no need to pay attention to the rumors being spread for vested political interests. In a statement issued by Raj Niwas, LG said that such rumors are being spread that the Central Government and the Lieutenant Governor will stop the subsidy schemes. The LG of Delhi has dismissed it as a rumour.
Recently VK Saxena has assured the people of Delhi that no subsidy scheme benefiting the poor will be stopped. LG VK Saxena has specifically said that these schemes are paid from the consolidated fund of National Capital Territory (NCT) Delhi and not from the account of any individual or political party.
