Winds were blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour and then there was relief from heavy rain. Earlier, the heat wave was continuing in Patna. The maximum temperature had crossed 40 degrees. Heat wave-like conditions had developed in the afternoon itself. However, due to the strong storm, the lights went off in many areas.
