Clash broke out between two parties when digging of pond was stopped in Kako

A situation of conflict arose between the two parties when the local people stopped the digging of the pond which started again after about 15 days in Ward No. 11 of the Nagar Panchayat. The police station chief, who reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, described the situation as normal and said that information has been received about some people forcefully stopping the digging work of the pond of the Minor Irrigation Department. Information has been sought from the contractor in the matter. As soon as information is received, legal action will be taken against such people. Regarding the incident, let us tell you that the excavation of the pond was started at the said site about 15 days ago by the Minor Irrigation Department, where during the excavation, the idol of Radhey-Krishna was recovered from the pond, after which the idol was worshiped by the local people. After starting the Archana, there was talk of construction of a temple there, where the police took possession of the idol and sent it to the Archeology Department for investigation. The local people were enraged by the police forcefully taking possession of the idol and they blocked the road and blocked the police, in which many police personnel were injured. The matter was calmed down after the intervention of senior officials. Meanwhile, digging of the said pond was started again on Monday due to which the local people got angry and started opposing the digging. People said that they would not allow the pond to be excavated until their idol was examined and returned to them. Tension arose between the two parties regarding this matter. The police arrived after getting information about the matter and calmed the people down.
