Civil surgeon saved the life of a young man in pain after a road accident in Patna on Thursday by giving him CPR. In fact, a young man riding a bike was seriously injured in a road accident on the road leading to Marine Drive via Atal Path in the city. In this accident, his head got injured and he became unconscious on the road itself. After the incident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. Then civil surgeon Mithileshwar Kumar, who was passing by from the other direction, stopped his car after seeing the crowd and proceeded to help the patient.

Seeing the crowd of people, the civil surgeon stopped the vehicle.

When Mithileshwar Kumar crossed the divider and reached the patient, he first examined the patient on the road itself. The young man’s breathing was moving at a very slow rate, they immediately gave CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) to the patient. After which his condition improved slightly.

Admitted to PMCH after CPR

After some improvement in the condition of the young man, he was sent to PMCH (Patna Medical College and Hospital) in a police vehicle. Also, arrangements were made for his admission in the ICU of PMCH. Now the condition of the injured is said to be normal. According to the information, he was seriously injured after being hit by an unknown vehicle.

What is CPR?

CPR means cardiopulmonary resuscitation. This is a kind of first aid. Which is given to a victim at that time. When he has difficulty breathing or he becomes unconscious. Giving CPR can save the patient’s life at that time. Due to which adequate time is available to take the patient to the hospital.
