Citroën Basalt: French car manufacturer Citroen is preparing to launch the Citroen Basalt Coupe SUV to compete with the Tata Curve in India. The company will present this car in a unique notchback design. Its teaser was released recently. This car has been unveiled in the global market. This car was earlier known as C3X, which has now been named Basalt. It will be available for sale in the second half of 2024. How will be the exterior and interior of Citroen Basalt?

The Citroen Basalt has a unique notchback design, which looks like a sedan with a high-riding stance. The front grille looks similar to the C3 Aircross with redesigned LED headlamps, attractive front bumpers, new alloy wheels, chunky wheel arches and dual-tone exterior color. At the rear, it can be found with wraparound LED tail lamps, silver faux plate and a big Citroen logo in the middle.

Features of Citroen Basalt

The Citroen Basalt Coupe SUV features a large infotainment screen with wireless connectivity, digital driver display, keyless entry, wireless charging, automatic climate control and cruise control. At the same time, for the safety of the passengers, it is expected to get features like six airbags as standard, rear parking camera with sensors, ISOFIX and TPMS.

Although, the French automobile manufacturer has not yet given any official information about the engine of this coupe car model, but it is being speculated that the engine of Citroen C3 Aircross can be given in Basalt. It is likely to be provided with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which is capable of generating maximum power of 109 bhp and peak torque of 205 Nm. It can be mated to a six-speed manual or a torque converter unit.
