It’s Christmas time on Monday. That is why now everyone is waiting for the coming of Lord Jesus. According to the belief, on 24th December i.e. Sunday night, Lord Jesus will come to this earth in human form and will give the message of love, happiness and humanity among the people.
It is said that Lord Jesus came to this earth to liberate mankind and we convey his message to the people on the occasion of Christmas. He taught man the lessons of love, humanity, peace and harmony, the message of which is spread by the people of the Christian community.
Apart from the church, toffees and gifts are being distributed among the children by Santa Claus at many places. Lord Jesus will be born on 24th December i.e. Sunday night for which a cowshed has been prepared in the church.
The cow shed in the church has been specially decorated. After the birth of Lord Jesus, cakes will be cut and people of the Christian community will celebrate the arrival of the Lord by dancing and singing throughout the night. On this occasion, a special prayer will also be organized on Sunday night. People will celebrate the birthday of Lord Jesus by lighting candles and cutting cake.
On Monday, 25th December, people from every community come to the church and light candles in front of Lord Jesus and pray to him. On this occasion, a fair is organized in and around the church. The shops in the city are purchasing Christmas trees, Santa Claus dresses and other decorative items.
People preparing for Christmas are coming to these shops to buy Christmas trees, Santa Claus dress sticks, Happy Christmas slogans, masks, beard moustaches, decorative fringes, chocolates, greetings and gift items.
