A glimpse on Chiranjeevi’s film career
Chiranjeevi is one of the most successful actors, having worked in more than 160 films (including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada). In 2006, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan, becoming his second Padma award. To enter politics, he took a break from acting after the 2007 film Shankar Dada Zindabad and founded the Praja Rajyam Party in 2008. However, he returned to films in 2017 with Khaidi No. 150. Chiranjeevi is also known for his humanitarian work. In the year 1998, he founded Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust (CCT), and Chiranjeevi Blood and Eye Bank. It became the state’s largest recipient of blood and eye donations.
