Child Trafficking: Child Line rescues six children brought from Bihar to Lucknow’s madrassa, three in custody

Lucknow: Child Line has rescued the children brought illegally from Bihar in the name of teaching in Madrasa of Lucknow. These children were brought to Lucknow by bus. This action was taken on the information of SSB Bettiah. A letter has been written to the Police Commissioner to take action against those involved in child trafficking.

Total 18 children were rescued

Dr. Shuchita Chaturvedi (Member), Uttar Pradesh State Child Rights Protection Commission (Lucknow) and Sangeeta Sharma Child Line Lucknow did this successful rescue operation under the guidelines of Priyank Kanungo, President, National Child Protection Commission, New Delhi. When the arrested person was interrogated, he told the address of the madrasa. After this, the illegal madrassa built in Sadrauna of Thana Para (Lucknow) was raided at 5 pm. A total of 18 children were rescued there. Whose age was between 6 to 14. A total of 03 persons were detained in this campaign.

There were fans but there was no electricity. There was facility of food and drink for the children, facility to play and jump etc. The children of poor people were brought up in the name of Urdu studies. Information about these children First of all, on the information of SSB (Piprakothi), Motihari Police (Bihar) stopped them and interrogated them. Without bringing them to the notice of the Child Welfare Committee, Motihari, they were handed over to the person who took them from there and sent to Lucknow in a bus.

SSB Bettiah had given information about child trafficking

As soon as the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (Regional Headquarters) SSB Bettiah received information that 06 children were being taken to Madrasa to make them work in the name of studies, then this information was forwarded.
