Now only a few days are left for the great festival of folk faith, Chhath, in Patna. In such a situation, preparations have also been started at various Ganga ghats of Patna. The district administration team is continuously busy in cleaning the Chhath Ghats and making other arrangements.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected various Ganga ghats of Patna on Friday and gave necessary instructions to the officials. The Chief Minister himself visited all the ghats aboard a steamer and took stock of the preparations being made by the district administration for the Chhath festival.

All the senior officers of various departments were present along with the CM. During this, he saw the Ganga Ghats from Digha Ghat to Gaighat. CM Nitish Kumar also gave many instructions to the officials.

Chhath Vrat, the great festival of four-day sun worship, is starting from 17th November. The four-day ritual will begin with Nahay Khay on November 17. Kharna Puja will be held on 18th November.

Evening Arghya will be offered to Lord Surya on 19th November, while morning Arghya will be offered on 20th November. Patna district administration will soon release a list of dangerous ghats, where Chhath fasting people will be prohibited from visiting.
