Chief Minister Manohar Lal made a big announcement, these daughters will be given free education in Haryana.

Haryana government has announced free college education for female students with family income less than Rs 1,80,000. Announcing this, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also said that the government will pay half the fees for college education to girl students whose family income is between Rs 1.80 lakh to Rs 3 lakh. The government said, this will be applicable to all female students studying in private and government colleges.

CM Khattar posted, “Today I announce free education for the daughters of Haryana families whose annual income is up to Rs 1,80,000. This announcement will be applicable to all private and government colleges and whatever fees will be there, It will be borne by the government. Along with this, the government will pay half the fees for college education (private and government) of daughters from families with annual income between Rs 1,80,000 to Rs 3,00,000.”

Addressing a gathering in Ratangarh village in Karnal district on November 5, Khattar had announced that the transport department would provide bus services to villages with more than 50 students studying in far-flung schools. The department will also provide mini buses to 30 to 40 such students.

“For those villages where the number of students studying in remote schools is between five to 10, the education department will take steps to provide necessary transport support,” he said. According to an official statement, the student transport security scheme started from Ratangarh village on November 6.
