Chief Minister can come to Raj Bhavan to protest against anything: Governor

West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose took a jibe at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and said that if you want to oppose anything, you can come inside the Raj Bhavan. There is no need to protest by sitting outside the Raj Bhavan. Appointment of Vice Chancellors in universities is necessary. This is very important for the smooth running of the education system in Bengal. The people of Bengal know that what the governor is doing is right. Significantly, a few days back, the Chief Minister warned that if the universities continue to work as per the instructions of the Governor, she will stop their funding and stage a dharna in front of the Raj Bhavan. The war of words continues between Mamata Banerjee and the Governor.

CM had threatened to stop funds

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, in a government program on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, alleged that the governor was interfering in the functioning of the universities run by the state government. She warned that if the universities continue to work as per the instructions of the Governor, she will stop their funding. The Chief Minister said that the Governor’s actions are an attempt to paralyze the state administration. He is not returning even a single bill passed by the Assembly. We will not allow injustice to happen. Bengal knows how to fight. Watch and wait.
