Garhwa: Riyazuddin alias Chhotu theater artist was murdered in broad daylight on Saturday in Ranchi. Criminals shot him near Urdu Library in Lower Bazaar police station area. This notorious criminal was a resident of Sevadih village of Ranka police station in Garhwa district of Jharkhand. In 1997, he entered the world of crime. At the age of 22, he had become synonymous with terror in the crime world. After this, he started committing many incidents including murder and robbery. Chhotu Rangsaaz was the first to murder Ramchandra Sao, a resident of Siroikala, in a wedding procession in Daltonganj in the year 1997. The wedding procession had gone to Daltonganj from Ranka itself. Ramchandra Saav, who was involved in the wedding procession, was shot dead.

Chhotu Rangsaaz carried out two incidents of robbery with the force of arms in the year 1999. Looted items were also recovered in this. In the year 2000 also there was robbery with the force of arms. After this, in the year 2003, Ranka Bazar Main Road Jewelers shopkeeper S Kumar Soni was shot dead after entering his shop for not paying extortion money.
