Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai Told that the 9 MLAs who will take oath as ministers include Brijmohan Aggarwal, Ramvichar Netam, Dayaldas Baghel, Kedar Kashyap, Lakhanlal Dewangan, Shyambihari Jaiswal, OP Chaudhary, Tank Ram Verma and Lakshmi Rajwade.

Another ministerial post will be filled later

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said, departments will also be allocated soon. He said that another post in the cabinet will be filled later. Chhattisgarh, which has a 90-member assembly, can have a maximum of 13 ministers including the Chief Minister.

Vishnu Dev Sai and two Deputy Chief Ministers took oath on 13 December.

First step taken towards fulfilling Modi’s guarantee

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai took the first step towards fulfilling Modi’s guarantee through the supplementary budget. In which a provision of Rs 3799 crore was made for the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme. Whereas a provision of Rs 3800 crore was made for the outstanding paddy bonus of two years. While replying to the discussion in the Assembly on the second supplementary budget of more than Rs 12,992 crore for the financial year 2023-24, Sai said, the previous government had presented a budget of more than Rs 1 lakh 21 thousand crore. Big talks were made about the schemes, but the government did not make concrete efforts to generate revenue.
