Chhattisgarh BJP released second list of 64 candidates, state president Arun Sahu will contest elections from Lormi.

Just hours after the announcement of Chhattisgarh assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the ruling Congress party, has released the list of its 64 candidates. On Monday, the party released the list of candidates. In this, many MPs have been made candidates for the assembly elections 2023. State BJP President Arun Sahu Has been fielded from Lormi seat. Meanwhile, MP Renuka Singh has been made the candidate from Bharatpur-Sonhat (ST) seat. The meeting of the Central Election Committee of BJP was held on October 1, 2023. Members of the Central Election Committee also participated in the meeting chaired by National President JP Nadda. Based on the discussion in the meeting chhattisgarh assembly elections The party has announced its candidates for 2023. Before this, BJP had released its first list of 21 candidates. The name of MP Vijay Baghel was also in the first list, who has been fielded from Patan assembly seat against the Chief Minister of the state Bhupesh Baghel. 9 women have been made candidates in this list. The party has also fielded two MPs in the assembly elections. Among the women to whom the party has given tickets, six are from Scheduled Tribes (ST).
