Gorakhpur News: The great festival of Chhath started on Friday with Nahay Khay. In Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Delhi and other places, people are celebrating this festival with joy and devotion. On this festival, people are reaching their homes by various means. A large number of people are crowding the trains going to Purvanchal, Bihar at Charbagh railway station in Lucknow. Due to seats being full in trains, people are facing a lot of problems. There is no room to even step in the general coach. In such a situation, Railways has decided to provide relief to the migrants of Purvanchal and Bihar coming home from Delhi and Punjab on Chhath festival. In view of the rush of passengers on Chhath festival, the railway administration has announced to run Chhath Puja special train between Gorakhpur to Anand Bihar and Chhapra to Anand Bihar, which will provide a lot of convenience to the people of Purvanchal and Bihar. According to Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh, 05073/05074 Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Terminus-Gorakhpur Chhath Puja special train will be operated from Gorakhpur on Tuesday and Friday on 21st and 24th November, 2023 and from Anand on Wednesday and Saturday on 22nd and 25th November, 2023. This will be done in two trips from Bihar Terminus. In these trains, 6 coaches of ordinary ticket class, 07 of sleeper class, 03 of air-conditioned third class and 02 coaches of air-conditioned second class will be installed.
According to Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh, 05073 Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Terminus Chhath Puja special train will depart from Gorakhpur at 20.55 hrs on 21st and 24th November, 2023, from Khalilabad at 21.33 hrs, from Basti at 22.03 hrs, from Gonda at 23.35 hrs, from Burhwal on the next day. It will leave at 00.42 hrs, from Sitapur at 03.05 hrs, from Bareilly at 06.20 hrs, from Moradabad at 08.10 hrs and from Ghaziabad at 11.10 hrs and will reach Anand Vihar Terminus at 12.30 hrs. In the return journey, 05074 Anand Vihar Terminus-Gorakhpur Chhath Puja special train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminus at 14.30 hrs on 22nd and 25th November, 2023, from Ghaziabad at 16.05 hrs, from Moradabad at 19.05 hrs, from Bareilly at 21.05 hrs, from Sitapur at 00.15 hrs on the second day, It will leave from Burhwal at 03.35, Gonda at 04.30, Basti at 06.05 and Khalilabad at 06.37 and reach Gorakhpur at 07.30.
Apart from this, Chhapra-Anand Vihar Terminus-Chhapra Chhath Puja special train number 05075/05076 will be operated from Chhapra on Monday and Thursday, 20th and 23rd November, 2023 and from Anand Vihar Terminus on Tuesday and Friday, 21st and 24th November, 2023. Will be done for the rounds. 05075 Chhapra-Anand Vihar Terminus Chhath Puja special train will depart from Chhapra at 17.45 hrs on 20th and 23rd November, 2023 and reach Siwan at 18.30 hrs, Deoria Sadar at 19.35 hrs, Gorakhpur at 20.55 hrs, Khalilabad at 21.37 hrs, Basti at 22.04 hrs, Gonda. On the second day, it will leave from Burhwal at 00.42 hrs, Sitapur at 03.05 hrs, Bareilly at 06.50 hrs and Moradabad at 08.25 hrs and will reach Anand Vihar Terminus at 11.50 hrs. In the return journey, 05076 Anand Vihar Terminus-Chhapra Chhath Puja special train will run on 21st and 24th November. On 2023, it will depart from Anand Vihar Terminus at 14.45 hrs, from Moradabad at 17.55 hrs, from Bareilly at 19.15 hrs, on the second day from Sitapur at 00.15 hrs, from Burhwal at 02.28 hrs, from Gonda at 03.30 hrs, from Basti at 04.43 hrs and from Khalilabad at 05.14 hrs, Gorakhpur at 06.25 hrs. It will leave Deoria Sadar at 07.25 and Siwan at 08.30 and reach Chhapra at 09.30.
Ordinary puja special train will run between Gorakhpur and Panvel.
After Chhath festival, a pair of ordinary puja special trains will be run for Mumbai. Railway administration has announced Gorakhpur Panvel Gorakhpur Chhath Puja special train number 05013/05014. According to the Chief Public Relations Officer, Chhath Puja special will be run in two rounds. 20 ordinary second class coaches will be installed in this train. 05013 Gorakhpur Panvel Chhath Puja special train will depart on 24th November and 1st December at 9:00 am or the train will reach Panvel at 12:30 pm via Basti Aishbagh Kanpur Central Bhopal. In return, 05014 Panvel Gorakhpur Chhath Puja special train will depart on 20th November at 02.30 pm on 2nd December. This train will reach Gorakhpur at 8:30 pm on the second day via Bhusaval, Itarsi, Veerangana Lakshmibai Junction, Kanpur Central and Aishbagh.
