Preparations for the four-day ritual of Chhath, the great festival of folk faith, are in full swing from Friday. Traditional folk songs have started resonating in the courtyards. On Friday 17th November, take bath in Chhathvrati river and eat pumpkin rice. Here, since Thursday, the process of Chhathvartis going to Manihari, Kadhagola and Barari for bathing in Ganga is continuing. Chhath Puja is mainly a festival of worship of the visible deity Lord Bhaskar.
It is believed that Chhath Mata is pleased by worshiping the sun during Chhath festival. Fills the family with happiness, peace and wealth.
