Chatra: Shri Ram Utsav was celebrated in the district on the occasion of Pran Pratistha ritual in Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. Worship was done with devotion in the temples. Tableaux of Lord Shri Ram, Mata Janaki, brother Lakshman and devotee Hanuman were taken out on the chariot. During this time, people carrying saffron flags kept chanting Jai Shri Ram. Saffron will be waved in every house, every child of India will say Jai Shri Ram etc. The area resonated with the slogans.
